Compassion and a recognition of our shared humanity guide my practice. I believe my clients are the experts in their own experiences, and my role is to help you gain a deeper understanding of what is most genuine for you. In our sessions, I strive to create a judgment-free space, allowing you to explore your authentic self and move closer to your personal truth.
I approach the patterns that we often perceive as problematic with deep compassion. These patterns are typically our best attempts to protect ourselves. Through a gentle and compassionate therapeutic approach, we can navigate alternative ways of being without inflicting further harm through self-criticism and shame. Together, we can cultivate a space for exploration that honors your journey and fosters growth.
Holistic Care
As a clinician, I recognize the many influences that shape our mental health. I am dedicated to supporting clients in navigating the various systems outside our therapy sessions, such as the medical system, family dynamics, social support, and workplace challenges. By specializing in relationships, I help clients establish healthier boundaries with family, friends, and colleagues, ultimately allowing for greater space and focus on their mental well-being.
I believe in a collaborative approach with other medical providers, dedicating time outside of our sessions to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care. This holistic method is essential for fostering meaningful and lasting change in my clients' lives.
Additionally, I have a broad network of colleagues within the mental health arena, enabling me to provide referrals for supplementary treatments, including Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, EMDR, and DBT skills coaching, as needed. My goal is to empower clients to access a comprehensive support system tailored to their unique needs.
Strengthening your Authenticity
My work is inspired by Internal Family Systems (IFS), a method of psychotherapy based on the belief that all parts of ourselves are inherently good. Each part is trying to help us survive, even when their strategies may inadvertently cause further distress. In the face of trauma, we instinctively rely on whatever resources we have to navigate those difficult experiences. Over time, however, we often cling to these survival patterns long after the triggering events have passed, resulting in our traumatized parts becoming the dominant forces in our internal system.
My role is to guide you in helping your authentic self take the lead in this system. Together, we will work to comfort and reassure those traumatized parts, reminding them of the current reality and supporting them in letting go of outdated survival strategies. This process fosters a sense of greater agency and authenticity in your life, allowing you to thrive beyond past experiences.

I understand that there are times when we all need a little extra support to navigate through immediate crises. As a clinician, I am fully committed to providing practical assistance during these challenging moments. With extensive experience in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Executive Functioning skills, I am here to offer you valuable skills training that can help you through tough times.
Together, we can explore a range of coping strategies, time management techniques, and interpersonal effectiveness skills. Whether you are dealing with the grief of loss, the stress of demanding workweeks and family gatherings, or the inner turmoil of making significant decisions like accepting a job offer or moving in with a partner, my goal is to support you through it all.
